Plantronics Strengthens Altec Lansing Retail Distribution in Australia
Strategy Expected to Fuel Company’s Growth in Local Consumer Electronics Market
Plantronics, Inc. (NYSE: PLT) today strengthened its Altec Lansing retail presence in Australia with the introduction of three new distribution partners. Altec Lansing is extending its reach in Australia’s consumer electronics market by leveraging Plantronics’ successful distribution model and long-standing retail partnerships.

Altec Lansing products will now be available through three new distributors in Australia, including:
- Anyware Computer Accessories (www.anyware.com.au) Anyware Computer Accessories is an importer and distributor of computer accessories for Australia IT market, providing service to local IT resellers and mass retail channels.
- Roadhound Electronics (www.roadhound.com.au) Roadhound is one of the largest wholesale distributors of mobile phones in Australia. With a wealth of experience in wholesale electronic sales, Roadhound is one of two Australian mobile phone wholesaler who have been involved in the industry since day one.
- Amber Technology (www.ambertech.com.au) Amber Technology is an Australian distributor of professional and consumer audio visual technology.
Plantronics acquired Altec Lansing in 2005. The acquisition combines Plantronics’ expertise in voice communication with Altec Lansing’s expertise in music entertainment, allowing Plantronics to provide a more complete audio product portfolio to meet the needs of the consumer, in their personal and professional lives.
